Roanoke, Indiana is a town found in Jackson Township and located in Huntington County. According to the 2010 United States Census, Roanoke has a population of approximately 1,722 people. The city was founded in 1848 after the Wabash and Erie Canal were built in the territory. In 1874, Roanoke was incorporated as a town.
